Education and outreach activities of the CRC for Forestry
include training of staff and students, publication of
science-based resource material, public communications activities
and commercialisation initiatives. Our active education program
recruits and provides support for a large number of students
researching a variety of topics – from sociology to forest
genetics to engineering and systems modelling – and each
student project makes a valuable contribution to the CRC’s
overall research objectives.
The CRC for Forestry is also a partner in the new National
Forestry Masters Program. The current convenor of the Program
is CRC for Forestry Board Member, Dr Lyndall Bull. Read
